Known as Australia's Gentle Psychic Medium, Michelle Conway brings almost four decades of experience working within the psychic and mediumship field to Hide & Seek Paraquest.

Michelle has had an interest in the paranormal for as long as she can remember. As a young child, spirits would wake her during the night, making the unseen world a part of her life from an early age.

Over almost four decades, Michelle has had the privilege of reading for thousands of people around the world, providing guidance, insight, closure and support.

A LIFE CHOSEN BY SPIRIT

Michelle describes her journey as one where spirit chose her as a young child to become an ambassador for this work.

That journey has taken her through many different life experiences and opportunities.

Michelle has worked on international psychic radio and television programs, as well as regional radio stations throughout Victoria, allowing her to connect with people seeking genuine, honest, caring and accurate readings.

Today, her social media platforms continue to connect her with people around the world, providing daily guidance, support and a closer connection.

Michelle works with spirit with the intention of bringing forward what is needed for the highest good of all.

Combined with her academic knowledge, life experience and connection with spirit, Michelle brings a broad range of skills to her work.

A LIFETIME OF PARANORMAL EXPERIENCES

Michelle's first paranormal experiences didn't happen at a particular haunted location.

They've been part of her life for as long as she can remember.

As a young child, spirits would make themselves known to her, creating a lifelong connection with the paranormal and spirit world.

For Michelle, the paranormal isn't simply something she discovered later in life — it has been part of her journey from the beginning.

Michelle doesn't have one single investigation that stands above the rest.

Her view is simple:

Michelle's favourite locations to investigate are old, eerie buildings and historic cemeteries.

She is fascinated by places where history and the paranormal intersect.

WHAT INTERESTS MICHELLE?

Michelle is interested in every strand of paranormal activity.

Rather than focusing on one particular phenomenon, she believes each aspect of the paranormal may hold its own secrets.

For her, investigating is about remaining open to what may be discovered.

HER MUST-HAVE EQUIPMENT

Despite all the technology available to modern paranormal investigators, Michelle's essential piece of equipment is surprisingly simple:

A torch.

Sometimes the basics are all you need.

THE FALLING COIN

One of Michelle's strangest investigation experiences involved an old coin falling from a ceiling.

There appeared to be no cracks in the ceiling that could explain where it had come from.

It was one of those moments that immediately raises questions about what had just happened.

KEEPING AN OPEN MIND

Michelle maintains a very open approach to paranormal investigation.

When asked about paranormal claims she remains sceptical about, her answer was:

“Everything. Always keep an open mind!”

Michelle believes that while we are living in human form, it is impossible to fully understand or comprehend the complexity and extent of everything that may exist beyond our consciousness.

For her, keeping an open mind is essential.

EXPERIENCES THAT WORDS CAN'T EXPLAIN

Michelle believes some paranormal experiences are difficult to communicate accurately.

A sudden paranormal experience can have a profound impact on the person experiencing it, but when they attempt to describe it afterwards, something can be lost in translation.

The words may not fully capture the feeling.

The impact can become watered down by the thoughts, beliefs and perceptions of the person listening.

For Michelle, sometimes an experience simply has to be experienced to truly understand its impact.

Michelle describes what she brings to the team as:

“A backpack of learned skills from various strands of life, so far.”

That backpack contains decades of experience, professional training, life experience, mediumship and a deep understanding of people.

She also brings a calm, caring and supportive presence to investigations.

Michelle particularly enjoys the opportunity to learn and grow from each other.

Michelle's favourite horror movie is The Exorcist.

Her favourite paranormal movie is The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.

And if she could investigate anywhere in the world, she'd choose:

Scotland.

With its castles, cemeteries, battlefields and centuries of history, Scotland would provide Michelle with countless locations to explore.

FAMOUS HAUNTINGS OF SCOTLAND

Rather than choosing one historical person, Michelle would want to investigate any or all of Scotland's famous hauntings.

For her, the appeal lies in exploring the stories and history behind the locations and discovering what may remain.

IF MICHELLE COULD HAVE A PARANORMAL ABILITY

Michelle would choose:

Telekinesis.

The ability to move objects using only the mind would certainly be an interesting addition to paranormal investigations.

SOMETHING PEOPLE MAY NOT EXPECT

Despite decades of experience working publicly as a psychic medium and appearing on radio and television, Michelle says there's something people might be surprised to learn about her:
