Boo has been part of Hide & Seek Paraquest for around three months, bringing an easy-going attitude, enthusiasm and plenty of personality to the team.

Family is important to Boo, but so is having a good laugh and mucking around with the people around her.

And when it comes to the paranormal, Boo has been interested for a very long time.

A LIFELONG CONNECTION TO THE PARANORMAL

Boo's fascination with the paranormal goes all the way back to when she was three years old.

Ghosts, cemeteries and horror have been part of her interests throughout her life.

So when the opportunity came along to join a paranormal investigation team, it wasn't exactly a difficult decision.

WHY SHE JOINED HSPQ

Boo's reason for joining HSPQ is probably one of the simplest — and best — answers we've heard:

“My dream job!”

For Boo, paranormal investigation combines her fascination with ghosts and horror with the opportunity to spend time with people who share the same interests.

HER FIRST PARANORMAL EXPERIENCE

Boo's first major paranormal experience happened at a pub owned by her parents.

She saw the ghost of a man who had died in a fire upstairs at the pub.

Seeing an apparent spirit connected to a place so closely tied to her family made for a particularly memorable introduction to the paranormal.

BISHOPS PALACE

Boo's favourite location to investigate is Bishops Palace.

The historic atmosphere and paranormal possibilities make it a location that stands out for her.

It's exactly the kind of place where Boo enjoys getting stuck into an investigation.

WHAT BOO ENJOYS

Boo particularly enjoys experiences involving intelligent responses and manifestations.

She's interested in seeing whether potential spirits can respond to investigators and interact with their surroundings.

Voices and communication are also a big part of what keeps her interested.

HER MUST-HAVE EQUIPMENT

Boo's essential piece of investigation equipment is a:

Torch.

Simple, practical and absolutely necessary when you're wandering around a dark historic building in the middle of the night.

THE STRANGE EXPERIENCES

During investigations, Boo has encountered some particularly unusual things.

In two different locations, she experienced the words:

“God”

and

“Gregg.”

Whether there was a paranormal explanation or something else entirely behind those experiences, they certainly left an impression.

When asked how many unexplained experiences she's had, Boo's answer is perfect:

“Story of my life!”

OPEN TO THE EXPERIENCE

Boo doesn't approach an investigation expecting one particular outcome.

She's open to whatever happens.

Whether it's equipment responding, strange sounds, potential communication or something completely unexpected, she's happy to investigate and see where the night takes her.

WHAT BOO BRINGS TO HSPQ

Boo brings enthusiasm, fascination and passion to the team.

She's easy-going, enjoys having a laugh and genuinely loves the paranormal.

That combination makes her someone who can enjoy the lighter moments while still being fascinated by what an investigation might uncover.

THE HSPQ FAMILY

One of Boo's favourite things about HSPQ is the people.

She's made friends for life through the team.

Her favourite memories involve the laughs, getting to know everyone and, naturally, the team's attempts to get into the basement.

For Boo, these moments are what make HSPQ feel like more than just an investigation team.

HORROR & PARANORMAL

Boo's favourite horror movie is:

Pet Sematary.

When it comes to paranormal content, she enjoys Jasko.

Her dream would be to investigate paranormal locations throughout the USA, UK and Japan.

IF BOO COULD INVESTIGATE A HISTORICAL HAUNTING

Rather than choosing a particular historical person, Boo would love to investigate the Conjuring House.

Given her fascination with haunted locations and the history surrounding them, it's a natural choice.

IF BOO COULD HAVE A PARANORMAL ABILITY

Boo would choose the ability to:

Communicate with spirits.

Being able to directly communicate with the entities she encounters would take her investigations to another level.

SOMETHING YOU MIGHT NOT EXPECT

Boo isn't giving away all her secrets just yet.

Her answer to what people might be surprised to learn about her?

“Time will tell.”

Apparently, there's still plenty more to discover.
